About the In-Person Conference

Join us for the "ACAP Ag Conservation Con," a professional development conference designed for individuals working in agricultural conservation. This event is well suited for conservation district employees, agricultural conservation professionals, and those involved in the Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program (ACAP) or other conservation financial assistance programs. It offers opportunities to strengthen skills, expand knowledge, and support a more effective agricultural conservation workforce. Supported by Pennsylvania ACAP and highlighting its initiatives, the conference is open to all conservation professionals, partners, and students. Agricultural conservation success in Pennsylvania is a community-driven effort, and this conference provides a space for learning, networking, and professional growth.

Attendees may register for the Conservation District and PA Agency Agriculture "All Ag" Meeting on September 14, 2026, as a pre-conference option.

Explore the presentations and professional development field trips offered as part of this year's conference program.

Poster Session

Conservation professionals are encouraged to share ACAP projects through poster displays featured throughout the conference, with a dedicated opportunity to connect with attendees during the Sponsor Reception. Posters highlight successes, innovative approaches, partnerships, funding strategies, and lessons learned—serving as engaging, field-based summaries rather than formal research presentations. Recommended poster size is approximately 45" × 36", with easels and display support provided.

The ACAP Ag Conservation Con and the Center for Agricultural Conservation Assistance Training (CACAT) at Penn State Extension are supported by funding from the Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program (ACAP), administered by the Pennsylvania State Conservation Commission (SCC).

Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences research and extension programs are supported in part by Pennsylvania counties, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
