Nominations are now open for the 2026 ACAP Ag Conservation Con Awards, and this is your chance to celebrate the people and projects making a real difference in agricultural conservation in Pennsylvania. The conference will take place September 15–17 in Indiana County, with awards presented during the banquet.

The ACAP awards committee is calling on conservation professionals and partners to help spotlight outstanding work across the state. Whether it's a colleague who goes above and beyond, a team that consistently delivers results, or a project that inspires innovation, your nomination can help elevate their impact and share their story with the broader conservation community.

All award categories—except the Best ACAP Project Photo Award, which will be chosen by attendee vote—will be reviewed by a selection panel. Evaluations will be based on the information provided in the nomination and may include field verification. Optional letters of support from farmers, colleagues, or partners can strengthen submissions and highlight the nominee’s influence.

Here are this year's award categories:

  • Rookie of the Year
  • ACAP MVP Award
  • ACAP County Team Award
  • ACAP Partnership Award
  • Innovative ACAP Project Award
  • Best ACAP Project Photo Award

You may nominate someone else or yourself, and every nomination helps recognize the dedication driving agricultural conservation forward. The deadline to submit is end of day Monday, July 13, 2026.

A submission link will be provided to conservation district staff and managers through email. For any questions or if any non-district partners wish to access the nomination link, please contact Erin Trouba at ect5075@psu.edu.
