2024 Soybean Variety Testing Report

Soybean variety trials are conducted annually to provide information to farmers, seed companies, and agricultural stakeholders regarding the performance of soybeans grown in Pennsylvania. This information should be used to supplement other sources of information, such as seed industry performance tests, other independent testing data, and on-farm performance records when making variety selection decisions. Results from the 2024 trials are summarized below. New this year, we implemented a trial in which only conventional (non-GMO) varieties were included.
