2024 Corn Grain Hybrid Testing Report
Corn hybrid trials are conducted annually to provide information to farmers, seed companies, and agricultural stakeholders regarding the performance of corn grown in Pennsylvania. This information should be used to supplement other sources of information, such as seed industry performance tests, other independent testing data, and on-farm performance records when making variety selection decisions.
Results from the 2024 trials are presented in the full report below. Data are also provided in tabular format. Please read the full report before interpreting tabular data. We strongly recommend using data summaries based on the adaptation zone. Data from individual locations are only provided to support the zonal data summaries. The first step when using this report is to select the zone that best represents your operation, based on the location, climate, and hybrid relative maturity practiced in your farm.
