Grandparent As Parents
The Grandparents As Parents program is designed to assist older persons who are caring for children related to them. The older person must reside in the same household as the child, be the primary caregiver of the child because the parents of the child are unwilling or unable to care for the child, be within certain income guidelines, and live in Lancaster County. Services provided to older persons who are caregivers include:
*Information about available services
*Help with accessing those services
*Care Management including individual counseling, support group information, and limited supplemental services to complement the care provided by caregivers.
