This multi-purpose social service agency assists clients of all races, creeds, or national origins who reside in the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese area. Among its programs are: Individual/family counseling, Foster Family Care Service, Adoption Service, Pregnancy Counseling Program, and the Marriage Enrichment Program.
Child care to infants through grade 6 children.
Presently support and assist Parent As Teacher Program which is done in the home with the child's caregivers for ages birth - 5 years, Tough Love a teenage support group for parents, Story Hour for children with activities. We are hoping to start a new program for grandparents raising their grandchildren in the near future.
Health and wellness program for individuals age 55 and older.
Resident services coordinator would like to start providing services to grandparents raising grandchildren.
The Center focuses on parents and their children from infancy through age 5. Weekly make-it and take-it projects for parents, as well as activities for children. Computer programs available to families and monthly events such as a fall and spring preschool screening, parent/child care provider workshops, field trips, seasonal parties and other organized group activities.
