New Staff Orientation – Get Started

Twelve chapters guide you as you work with your program director to learn about your new job responsibilities, the children and families in your care, and the program. For infant-toddler and preschool professionals completion of this module plus the seven-hour New Staff Orientation module for the age group you work with meets the required fifteen hours for new staff professionals in Pennsylvania. (K6.2 C1, CDA 6) 8 Hours

The "New Staff Orientation – Get Started" is designed so that you work with your program director to help you learn about your new job and the center where you are working. The lessons give you general information about becoming a child care professional and includes questions to download and discuss with your director to learn specific information about the program.

Talk with your director and co-workers to learn all you can about your center, the children in your care, and the families you serve.
