The theme for the 2011 4-H Fair is “Everyone Wins With 4-H”, and we are planning to showcase many of the different opportunities that 4-H provides. See over 700 projects that have been made by our members. You can also watch the different 4-H Animal Shows – check schedule for days and times.

The York County 4-H Fair begins on Thursday, August 11th at 6 pm with the Alpaca Show. The Goat Show is at 5 pm on August 12 and the Fair gets into full swing on Saturday and Sunday, August 13th and 14th. The 4-H Swine Show & Livestock Sale are on Monday, August 15th. The kitchen will be providing their usual outstanding gastronomical delights (limited menu Thursday and Friday evenings) and of course, the very best chicken BBQ in all of York County will be available on Saturday starting at 11 am. Cool off with a refreshing peach sundae or snow cone.

New this year, 4-H’s own version of Minute to Win It! Other activities you won’t want to miss include demonstrations by Wood Carvers, Tall Cedar Clowns & balloons, Bob the Critter Guy and all his exotic critters, a Dog Agility demonstration and our very own Zumba dancing and so much more.

Please invite your family and friends to the fair this year. The 4-H Fair will be a great family event you will not want to miss.
