My Community: What's the Plan? was popular at the 2013 Pennsylvania Farm Show

Paige and Tristan Cole of Derry Township, Westmorleland County, embark as young citizen planners of a "Wooden Village," Kelsey Town, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show
The educators interviewed most of the participants during this activity, asking them land-use choice questions, and quizzing them about the pros and cons of their make-believe home and business location decisions.
Often the landscape model would be overrun by homes, businesses, and other developments being built into the green-felt crop fields, forestlands, and the pastures of the replica farm animals, causing overcrowding of those lands.
The exercise is designed to encourage participants to think through more deeply the consequences, both positive and negative, of land development choices and actions.
