Local Farmer Honors 4-H for 100 Years

A local farmer and 4-H family (Herb Gearhard) designed his corn maze this year to recognize 4-H and the Girl Scouts for 100 years of service to Pennsylvania youth. Every weekend in mid September through October, Herb gave participants a blank piece of paper on a clipboard and challenged them to figure out the message within the maze. It was a lot of fun but in listening to folks, it also became a real awareness factor for 4-H! Marketing at its best!
