Commissioner Tyler Courtney helps to Honor 4-H Salute to Excellence Award Winners
PA 4-H Leaders Celebrate 100 Years of 4-H!
The annual 4-H Leaders Kick-Off Dinner held special significance this year as Pennsylvania celebrates its’ centennial this year. Many of the 90 leaders who were in attendance were recognized for their years of service to the 4-H Program in Westmoreland County. Jean Bash and Jim Dunmire both have contributed over 50 years as 4-H Club Leaders. Both Commissioners Anderson and Courtney were on hand to help with the recognition. Carol Schurman, Extension Educator from Indiana County, provided the entertainment with historical trivia game to test the knowledge of the audience.
