This seminar will introduce participants to the Early Learning Standards (Please bring your copy to class) for Preschoolers, how they are organized and how to integrate the standards into curriculum and assessment. Participants will receive a working definition of curriculum, different types of assessments and an overview of the standards. Participants will be able to take a PA Early Learning Standard and create an activity that meets the standard and a way of assessing the outcome of implementation. THIS IS A CORE REQUIREMENT.
This session is developed for Center based providers of preschool children. Registration is limited to 5 staff per center.
