The Grape Disease & Pest Management Workshop will review the major disease and insect problems for Pennsylvania grape growers and seeks to address them with current research and recommendations from Extension educators. Participants will meet at the Penn State Extension Westmoreland County office to view the live webinar.
This workshop teaches stewardship of your land. By enhancing or creating natural areas and woodland, landowners can enjoy recreation, aesthetics, wildlife, and water quality. If the lot connects to other lots, there is an opportunity to make an even bigger impact by getting neighbors involved! Join us to learn how landowners, of even just a few acres, can make a positive difference in the environment through planning and implementing simple stewardship practices.
This 6 hour event will define Curriculum and Assessment and the link to Early Learning Standards. Discussion will also revolve around how to apply your assessments to curriculum and then to all Key Learning areas in a program.
The intent of this lesson is to share with Early Care and Education teachers an alternative to typical storytelling using a book. Students will learn about the history of Kamishibai, how it was used in Japan, and how it is now being embraced by educators around the world.
