Class Dates: Oct. 5 (1:00-2:00 PM) & Oct. 12, 19, 26 (1:00-3:30 PM) - Dining with Diabetes is a program for adults with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes and their families that will increase knowledge of healthy food choices and diabetes management. The classes offer healthy meal planning, food demonstrations, class discussions, and new physical activity choices.

Conifers provide the structural framework for many gardens, serving a variety of roles as specimens, focal points, screens, hedges and backdrops. They offer bold contrasts of foliage, color and texture as well as distinctive growth habits. This course includes six hours of in-depth training on evergreen identification and usage.

Pesticide Applicator Short Course will prepare participants for the Pennsylvania certified pesticide applicator exams in Core and Categories 06 (Ornamental and Shade Tree), 07 (Lawn and Turf), 10 (Right of Way & Weeds) and 23 (Parks and Schools Pest Control).
There are multiple origins of a child's behavior and these behaviors can be difficult for staff to address. This workshop will help teachers gain knowledge to support children's behavior and develop strategies to support self-regulation.
The Food for Profit workshop takes you step by step through the information necessary to start and run a small food product business, especially directed to individuals who will be making and packing their products for resale through grocery stores, farm markets or restaurants.
