Welcome Kelli Agler! Penn State Extension Summer Assistant...
Posted: June 1, 2011
I am from Susquehanna, and this year’s summer assistant at Penn State Cooperative Extension. I am the daughter of two wonderful parents Jack and Kaye Agler. Last fall, I decided to go back to college. I have now completed my first semester at Keystone College where I am majoring in Art Education. I enjoy both art and teaching; it makes for a great combination.
I was a very active 4-H member in the horse program for over seven years. I had many accomplishments during my 4-H career, including multiple State Championships. After I had completed my 4-H years, I went on to become a leader. I am now the leader of the Rough & Ready Riders 4-H Horse & Pony Club.
I have a great passion for horses, and working with them and their owners. I have been showing and competing for over twelve years. My goal is to compete at the AQHA, PHBA, or APHA World Horse Show. Of course, I do also enjoy doing artwork. I enjoy drawing and painting; especially when it’s of horses!
I plan to help out with all departments of 4-H this summer. I will be helping organize camps, design projects, and assist leaders to name just a few. This will allow be to become more familiar with all the projects offered in 4-H, which I am looking very forward to.
