2012 FSA Borrower Training Courses Offered

Penn State Extension Office, Montrose, PaThe Farm Financial Analysis Training (FFAT) offers agricultural producers the basic financial principles to help analyze and manage their farm. Successful completion of this course will satisfy the financial education requirements for FSA borrowers. The FFAT will be offered on the following dates: February 3, February 10, February 17, and February 24.
The Production Management Analysis Training (PMAT) addresses production management issues that are typical for traditional crop and livestock producers. The course has an intense focus on production planning. The PMAT will be held on the following dates: February 28, March 6, March 13, and March 20.
Pre-registration is required by calling toll free at 877-489-1398 or online at extension.psu.edu, click on “Events” and then find the course that you would like to sign-up for using the calendar corresponding with the first session of the course. The fee for these courses is $155 per course, meal will not be provided but participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch.
