Eat Five, Lesson 4--Dark Green, Leafy Vegetables

The Eat Five series show you why eating five servings of fruits and vegetables every day can lower your risk of cancer. They also tell you how to choose, store, and use fruits and vegetables that are most important in reducing your risk of cancer. This fourth lesson will explain why eating dark green, leafy vegetables may lower your risk of developing common cancers, explain why eating citrus fruits may lower your risk of developing common cancers, teach you how to recognize that food we eat does not seem to affect our risk of developing less common cancers, and explain the role of fiber in reducing the risk for certain cancers.
