These workshops will introduce several opportunities to become involved in TACF® and other multi-state chestnut research and restoration efforts. Much of what you learn will be useful in understanding the needs of other species as well. You will discover educational resources available to you, meet people with similar interests, and have an opportunity to contribute to a worthy goal.
As in most things “chestnut”, the importance of volunteers willing to assist in “Citizen Science” is critical. The need for trained volunteers to serve as eyes in the field and boots on the ground will only grow as we face many obstacles standing in the way of bringing back American chestnut to our forests. This is your invitation to join us.
