Avipel Receives 24(c) Label in Pennsylvania

A Special Local Needs 24(c) label has been issued for the use of the bird repellant Avipel on field and sweet corn. The label allows for hopper-box application only.

Avipel, manufactured by Arkion Life Science and distributed by many dealers, is a bird repellant that protects corn seed from bird depredation. It is active from the time of seed treatment through the seedling stage. The active ingredient is anthraquinone, and the product carries a Caution label. Thorough, uniform and consistent coverage of the seed is essential for full protection. You must have a copy of the 24(c) label at the time of application; these labels are available from dealers when purchased.
