2013 Orchard Spray Spreadsheet Now Available!
Posted: December 26, 2012
In response to grower recommendations, we have added three columns: ‘Time Start’, ‘Time Stop’, and ‘Block’; these features are directly linked to the new Apple Re-entry tab. Depending on REI (hrs) the Apple Re-entry tab will display proper re-entry times for each block (if ‘Time Start’ and ‘Time Stop’ are filled out). This can easily be printed and displayed for worker safety. Since this is a new function, we have only added it to Apples and look forward to your feedback on the usefulness of this added feature.
The second added feature is a Pivot Table next to each fruit's spreadsheet. This feature will record the Total Amount Applied and Amount per Acre Applied throughout the season sorted by chemical. This will not automatically update with each entry--simply right click the blue heading and hit ‘Refresh’ to update the contents.
We have continued to update the chemicals list for each fruit throughout the year; as a result we have outgrown our previously used Product ID numbers, and so they are no longer displayed. Thank you to all growers and consultants who have helped us to improve the spray spreadsheet!
The spray spreadsheet is available online, for free, at the new Fruit Production website under the Spreadsheets link on the left hand side.
