Organic Field Crop Study Circle: Agronomy 201

Event Canceled

Due to the forecast predictions for snow, gusting wind, and adverse driving conditions, the study circle is CANCELLED.  However, I plan to re-schedule for next year with this topic as our lead off for the 2018 study circles.

If you are an experienced or transitioning organic field crop producer, consider attending an organic field crops study circle. This format is intended to allow growers to engage, discuss, and exchange knowledge of organic field crop production.

Join fellow organic field crop farmers to discuss how changing planting dates, selection different varieties, altering seeding rate and depth, and more have impacted their farm's success.

The focus of the study circles is to provide support and learning to experienced and transitioning organic grain farmers. However, people with farms that are not certified organic are welcome to attend.

Registration is free for the first 30 registrants. For additional participants, lunch will cost $17. Funding for this event is provided by the USDA's OREI (Organic Agriculture Research and Education Initiative).

Registration for this event is closed.
