The Penn State Master Gardeners in Lackawanna County are having a hands-on workshop to teach you how to make new garden beds or enhance established ones with a technique called lasagna gardening or sheet composting. You don’t have to dig or use any kind of toxic sprays.
Join Trix Render, local artist and owner of the Willow River Gallery & Cafe, for a lesson on making great soup from the harvest of your own vegetables.
To become a Master Gardener, you need a keen interest in gardening, a willingness to learn more, and a strong desire to share your knowledge with others.
