539 Pollinator Friendly Gardens Certified in Pennsylvania
The number of Penn State Master Gardener certified Pollinator Friendly Gardens in Pennsylvania continues to grow! 539 gardens in 55 counties have earned the privilege of displaying the Pollinator Friendly Garden sign. These gardens are wonderful examples for others who would like to help our pollinators.
York and Berks counties added the most new gardens this year. Lancaster County; however, still leads the state for the most gardens certified to date – an enviable total of 76. York is a close second with 72 certified gardens, and Berks follows in third with 40.
