Mission, Purpose, Goals
Mission: To provide education and information about Integrated Pest Management to the Ornamental Horticulture Industry.
Goals: The Penn-Del IPM Research Group (first known as the Southeast Pennsylvania IPM Research Group) was established for both research and educational purposes. These goals were both research and educationally based. Through the collection of applied data, the group hoped to become knowledgeable of and effectively manage the key insect and mite pests that attack woody ornamental plants in southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. At the same time this group focused on educating other green industry professionals on proper pest identification and effective IPM practices.
