Phytophthora tolerant plants

With the extremely wet soils all last season, we’ve seen many samples with Phytophthora.

A few years ago at a national workshop, diagnosticians put their collective noggins (and databases) together and came up with a list of plants that they think tolerate Phytophthora. That info is summarized in this North Carolina State Fact Sheet for all who work with herbaceous and woody ornamentals.
