Woody Ornamental Pest Update

As the old saying goes, you can't control the weather. If I could, it would definitely be much warmer and sunnier. I hope all of you had a safe and productive winter season. Welcome to the new Green Industry Website. Here you can find useful educational information (fact sheets, links to other sites), listing of educational programs, current pest activity and growing degree day information. Currently, the site is a work in progress, particularly the statewide pest monitoring. My e-mail newsletter will now take the format of a blog posting on the web site. You will receive an e-mail notification to go to the web site to check it out whenever I update my post. The goal is to have horticulture educators throughout the state post their thoughts and observations there too. I have also set up a Twitter account to post observations - pest activity for instance - during the growing season. You can follow me at IPMBugs.
