Emerald Ash Borer in PA - Update

A purple panel sticky trap in an ash tree was hung by an Emerald Ash Borer Survey Team. These traps will be inspected for the presence of emerald ash borer adults in mid-summer and will be removed in mid-to late August.
The EAB was found on a purple panel sticky trap and has been confirmed in Wyoming County Pennsylvania. The location of this detection is in the southern part of the county in Monroe Township.
This new detection brings the total number of counties in Pennsylvania with the EAB to 20.
