Program Details

Tim Abbey, Extension Educator

You too can be an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practitioner. IPM began as a “new” idea for managing plant pests in production farming decades ago. That doesn’t mean that you can’t implement IPM strategies in your home garden or landscape. Tim will discuss basic IPM components and use model pests to look at ways that you can manage your home garden ecosystems.

Door Prizes

Door prizes will be given at each workshop. At each workshop, you may enter the drawing to win the grand door prize, a Penn State Extension Master Gardener Manual (valued at $75.00), to be awarded at the last workshop of the season on October 24.
