Weather Outlook for February 2, 2016

Posted: February 3, 2016

Following the "blizzard of 2016", the weather has turned more tranquil for the beginning of February.

A few snow showers will linger in the northern and western portions of Pennsylvania on Wednesday following a cold frontal passage. Temperatures will remain above normal through the end of the week, with high temperature predominantly in the upper 30s to mid 40s. A few small disturbances may bring some scattered snow showers to northern Pennsylvania over the weekend, but most areas will stay dry through early next week. Some model guidance has indicated the chance for a coastal storm that may bring some snow to at least portions of western and central Pennsylvania in the Monday to Wednesday time frame, though there is high uncertainty at this time.
