As we get busy with the 2015 fall crops harvest, our available time is likely best spent on efficiency of harvest, delivery and storage also remembering the significance of health and safety. It is easy to take short cuts when we feel rushed. Let’s put safety at the top of our list!

National Farm Safety & Health Week is an annual promotion of the National Safety Council to help remind us of the hazards in farming and to promote safe practices on the farm every day of the year.

AgriSafe, a non-profit national membership organization, representing health professionals and educators who are concerned about the health and safety of farm families will be hosting a lunch webinar each day. Topics (M-F) are: Rural Roadway Safety, Confined Space-Manure Pit Entry, Harvest Season: Are the Children Safe?, AgriSafe: Healthier is Here and The National ROPS Rebate Program.
