2012 Penn State Agronomy Weed Trials Report Available On-Line

The results for the 2012 Agronomy Weed Trials will be available on-line later this week. This year’s report includes a number of herbicide trials conducted at both Rock Springs and Landisville in corn, soybean, alfalfa, grass pasture, barley, sweet corn, and snap bean. Trials included the examination of a number of new products including Anthem, Corvus, Fierce, Kixor Technology, Impact, Instigate, Prequel, Warrant, Zemax, Zidua, and other competitive products in corn. Soybean trials included Anthem, Authority products, Envive, Ignite and Liberty Link, Kixor Technology, Prefix, Sonic, Warrant, Valor XLT, Zidua, and competitive products comparisons. Additional trials included examining ALS-resistant chickweed in barley (on-farm trial), volunteer RR corn control in corn, pokeweed control in corn and soybean, and control of an annual ryegrass cover crop before corn.
