Weather Outlook for September 25, 2012
Posted: September 25, 2012
A stream of milder, moist air on Wednesday will produce an abundance of clouds, but only patches of showers. The majority of the state is expected to receive some rain.
A push of drier and more seasonal air will arrive on Thursday and stay through Friday, though clouds will gather during the day. The period from Saturday through Monday appears unsettled with several disturbances developing near or east of Pennsylvania. Expect at least one of the three days to be mainly cloudy with showers and it is possible that two of the days may turn wet. Cooler weather is anticipated due to the clouds and patchy rain. Once these disturbances depart early next week, a spell of warmer weather is likely for several days before a new surge of chilly air from Canada arrives for the following weekend (Oct 5-7).
