Saving Soil (and Money) on Your Farm

Do you know how and why grassed waterways should be maintained? Speakers include Penn State Extension, the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Farm Service Agency. A panel of custom applicators will answer questions and discuss how they manage their work with grassed waterways in the field.
This workshop is being held in Franklin County on July 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is located at the Franklin County Ag Heritage Center, 185 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, PA. Registration cost is $10 and includes lunch. The registration deadline is Friday, July 20.
