Summer is a time for kids to have fun and try something new like rocketry, computer programming or cooking. Pike County 4-H summer events are open to all children in Pike County. “Children and parents can learn more about the 4-H program by being involved in the summer activities,” said Deb Brodhecker, Pike County 4-H Educator. One day events, or day camp for four days give kids a way to sample 4-H activities. For children already enrolled in 4-H, the summer activities let them meet new people, try other projects and continue the 4-H fun throughout the summer.
