Penn State Extension in Pike County's free DEW (Drop Everything and Walk) program starts April 7. Why not join in this friendly competition? The next round of Growing Stronger starts April 9.
Residents who use a private water system such as a well spring or cistern should get their water tested on a regular basis. Pennsylvania has no regulations for homeowners with private water systems. You should test your water annually for coliform bacteria and every three years for pH and total dissolved solids.
The Growing Stronger (GS) strength training program is open for spring registration. Class begins April 9, 2013. GS will meet each Tuesday and Thursday in the Pike County Administration Building, 506 Broad St, Milford PA 18337, 4:45 – 5:45 PM.
