ServSafe® Course Will Be Held On March 5 and 12, 2012

A ServSafe® course will be conducted on March 5, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, and March 12, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM with the exam starting at 12:30 PM at the Penn State Extension office in Monroe County, 724 Phillips Street, Suite 201, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The registration fee is $175. Deadline for registration is February 20, 2012.
The certified person must be accessible during the facilities hours of operation. Additionally, all individuals seeking food safety certification are required to pass a certification exam every five (5) years.
The ServSafe® course, conducted by Penn State Cooperative Extension, is for individuals preparing for the exam. After attending the ServSafe® class(es) and passing the proctored, multiple-choice exam with a score of 75% or higher, participants will receive a ServSafe® certificate, which meets the PDA requirement for food safety certification.
