| Twig blight and canker | Common or European and Lodenese privet twigs die. Cankers have pinkish fungal fruiting structures. Affected bark splits and plants die when girdled. | Glomerella cingulata | Plant resistant cultivars such as Amure, California, Ibota, or Regal. |
