Pesticide Application Procedures
$20, 35:15 minutes in length; 1 CORE credit
In this interactive recertification course, you will learn about: common application methods; safety systems; application equipment; area formulas; calibrating equipment; calculating application rates; and minimizing drift. Just a word of caution, the last quiz is very calculations focused but provides detailed explanations of how to find the answer.
Pesticides in the Environment
$35, 45:36 minutes in length; 2 CORE credits
In this interactive recertification course, you will learn about: general chemical properties, types of degradation, how pesticides move in the environment, pesticide drift, sources of water contamination, soil properties and leaching, best management properties, and pesticide effects on non-targets.
Planning the Pesticide Application
$20, 27:19 minutes in length; 1 CORE credit
Course Description: In this recertification course, you will learn details to consider before starting a pesticide application, how to select the appropriate pesticide for the job, and then how to carefully review the label. Other factors involved are knowing how to test for pesticide compatibility prior to mixing; what PPE to wear during mixing, loading, and cleaning; how to transfer pesticide contents safety, and how to clean up after an application.Register for the Planning a Pesticide Application Course

Course Description: In this recertification course, you will learn about solubility; advantages, disadvantages, and abbreviations of dry, liquid, and other formulation types; pesticide mixtures, compatibility, and jar testing; and types of adjuvants and surfactants.
Emergency or Incident Response
$20, 30:43 minutes in length; 1 CORE credit
Course Description: In this recertification course, you will learn the components of an emergency response plan, how to create a site map, the potential problems with pesticide fires, about the Hazard Identification System sign, how to handle a pesticide spill, and what to include in a spill kit.
Transportation, Storage, and Security
$20, 23:51 minutes in length, 1 CORE credit
Course Description: In this recertification course, you will learn safety and security issues while pesticides are in transit or in storage, vehicle operator responsibilities, other transportation precautions, risk assessment, employee training, and preventing security problems.
$20, 27:27 minutes in length, 1 CORE credit
Course Description: In this recertification course, you will learn about how a pesticide is brought to market, types of pesticide registrations, when to read the pesticide label, parts of the label, signal words, and MSDSs.
$35, 63:58 minutes in length, 2 CORE credits
Course Description: In this recertification course, you will learn about the history of pest control, bioaccumulation and biomagnification, main groups of pests, pest management methods, groups of pesticides, contact and systemic pesticides, and integrated pest management.
