Healthy Air + Healthy Spaces = Healthy Children
The “Healthy Air + Healthy Spaces = Healthy Children” training module was developed as a joint effort between the Penn State University Integrated Pest Management Program and the Better Kid Care Program (http://betterkidcare.psu.edu/). The module is designed for one educator to deliver the material to a group of child care providers. The complete training takes approximately 2.5-3 hours and addresses integrated pest management (IPM), pesticides, and green cleaning in child care settings. The module contains:
- An Instructor Manual – complete with information, directions, a presentation script and activities
- A PowerPoint presentation to accompany the script
- Workshop evaluation
