PA School IPM Manual

The PA IPM Program, in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and The Pennsylvania State University Colleges of Agricultural Sciences and Education, developed this comprehensive school IPM manual.

2007 Edition
This edition has several important changes as well as some minor editorial revisions. In the six years since this manual was first published, legislation was passed requiring each Pennsylvania school district, intermediate unit, and area vocational/technical school to develop an IPM plan (Act 35 of 2003), to notify parents and guardians 72 hours prior to any pesticide applications, and to post warning signs 72 hours prior to and 48 hours after any pesticide applications in school buildings or on school grounds (Act 36 of 2002).
