You are invited to attend the 2011 Pennsylvania Crop Producers Conference. This is a two day conference sponsored by the Pennsylvania No-till Alliance, the Pennsylvania Forage and Grassland Council, the Pennsylvania Corn Growers Association, the Pennsylvania Soybean Board, the Mid-Atlantic Soybean Association and Penn State Cooperative Extension. The event is designed to address emerging issues that face agronomic crop producers in the state and focus on production, no-till, marketing, risk management, regulatory and environmental issues related to crop production. The event is an opportunity for leading crop producers in the state to come together to share ideas on strategies that are working on their operations. The program consists of seminars, breakout sessions and roundtable discussions led by crop producers on key practical issues. The event also has a trade show where many of the leading crop input suppliers and farm agencies and their representatives will be represented. Commodity organization leaders will also be present and share some of the activities of their organizations. In addition to gaining practical agronomic knowledge, CCA, nutrient management, and pesticide applicator license credits can be obtained. (There will be a total of approximately 25 CCA credits that can be acquired in CM, PM, NM & SW.)
The 2011 conference will be held at the Holiday Inn in Grantville, PA on February 15 and 16.
