North East Association of County Agricultural Agents Looking for Tour Sponsors

Posted: January 12, 2012

Tours are a critical component of professional improvement as it allows county agricultural educators to observe what is going on outside their area. Sponsorship of these tours is needed for this activity to occur and the North East Association of County Agricultural Agents is looking for individuals or businesses to assist in this endeavor.

Tours are a critical part of the annual meeting of the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA) as agents from all over the US get to see the unique flavor of the area they are visiting.   And of course, there is the learning aspect of the tours.  In 2013, there will be no separate NACAA annual meeting but instead a large gathering of all the associations within the extension community at the Galaxy Conference in Pittsburgh.  Many aspects of the NACAA meetings, however, will still take place including the tours.
