Dana Rizzo Awarded the Achievement Award at the 2012 National Association of County Agricultural Agents' annual meeting.

Dana Rizzo was recognized at the 2012 National Association of County Agricultural Agents' annual meeting this past July for her efforts with Penn State Cooperative Extension. This award is given to educators with less than ten years of service.

Dana has spent twelve years in water quality in Pennsylvania and Arizona.  Currently works in southwestern Pennsylvania in management of private water supplies, on lot septic, ponds, and public health concerns.  Works with regional groups regarding the aging water & wastewater infrastructure and the potential effects of natural gas drilling on private water supplies.  Has a BS in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Resource Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania
