Northern Wayne Property Owners Alliance (NWPOA)
Northern Wayne Property Owners Alliance is a group started in mid 2007 after hearing that area residents were being contacted by landmen with offers to lease land for natural gas exploration. Neighbors quickly started gathering and sharing information in order to become better educated about the process. Thanks to the voluntary efforts of our members, we have grown to where we are today, a 50,000 acre+ group of landowners in northern Wayne county and beyond.
Elk County C.A.R.E.S. (Citizens Advocating Responsible Environmental Stewardship)
Elk County C.A.R.E.S. is a group of concerned citizens in Elk County PA that advocate for a healthy, sustainable environment by informing and raising awareness about the hazards of gas well drilling in our community; including the impacts to our water quality, air quality and human health.
