The Master Well Owner Network (MWON) is a group of approximately 600 volunteers dedicated to promoting the proper construction, testing, and maintenance of private water wells, springs and cisterns throughout Pennsylvania.
Trained MWON volunteers will receive the following:
A free copy of the 80 page publication - A Guide to Private Water Systems in Pennsylvania
A coupon good for a one-time, 10% discount on water testing through the Penn Staet water testing lab.
Seven hours of training on all aspects of proper management and protection of water wells, springs and cisterns.
Access to all MWON educational materials.
Trained MWON volunteers are asked to:
Make your best effort to pass along the information that you learned about management of private wells, springs and cisterns to approximately 100 neighbors, friends, family, coworkers or other private water supply owners over a two year period.
Report your educational activities at least one each year to the MWON program.
