Ground Water Awareness Week seeks to educate the public about ground water and water well stewardship.
First started 12 years ago by the National Ground Water Association, National Ground Water Awareness Week will be celebrated this year during March 11-17, 2012. This week seeks to educate the public about the importance of ground water and private water well stewardship. The link below provides more information from the National Ground Water Association.
Penn State Extension and the Master Well Owner Network will celebrate National Ground Water Awareness Week by providing numerous Master Well Owner training workshops and Safe Drinking Water Clinics in March 2012. Check our EVENTS page for more details.
