Natural Gas Programs offered Across the State

A variety of natural gas related programs are scheduled in October. The Penn State Marcellus Summit is scheduled for October 10-12 at the Penn State Conference Center. This conference has a superb line up of speakers and presenters and shouldn’t be missed.
On October 1st, hear Bryan Swistock, Penn State Senior Extension Associate, discuss Baseline Water Quality in Groundwater Wells Across the Marcellus Region of Pennsylvania. In the southwestern part of the state, Extension educators will discuss shale gas exploration on October 2nd at the Pittsburgh Extension office. Later in the month, a water test result interpretation program will be held in Brownsville on October 24th.
On October 22nd, “The Geology and Economics of Shale Gas Exploration in Western Pennsylvania” will be held in Franklin PA. Across the state in Hawley PA, Penn State Extension educators will discuss zoning provisions in Pennsylvania Act 13 on October 29th. The monthly shale gas webinar, “Reading Royalty Checks” will be held live on October 18th from 1 to 2 PM.
