Over the past several weeks, we have focused on information presented at recent public forums that addressed protection and testing of private drinking water supplies near areas where natural gas drilling is occurring. Bryan Swistock, water resource extension specialist with Penn State’s School of Forest Resources, Dan Vilello with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and Jim Ladlee from the Clinton County Extension Office, fielded the following questions.
