Will bats stop logging in PA?

Whitenose syndrome is killing our bats. The Indiana Bat is already and endangered species in PA. But now we are talking about listing the much more common tri-colored bat, the little brown bat and the northern long-eared bat because of this syndrome. PA has lost 99% of our bats according to Bat Conservation International. Not good. The syndrom's extent in across the NE (see map). So where do trees fit in? The bats use forested areas in the summer months. So of the species are listed we talking about logging restrictions from April to November. Bats are also very useful in pest control by eating insects. The Game Commission is taking public comments and if the they don’t act the Feds could easily step in.
