Two New Energy Funding Opportunities for PA

Two new funding opportunities have recently come available for Pennsylvanians interested in energy efficiency or solar energy.
The first is the 2011 Advantage Grant Program from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. This grant is for small businesses to implement energy efficiency or pollution reduction measures. These grants are for 50% of the cost, up to $7,500. The second opportunity is for solar energy system installation. The Commonwealth Finance Authority has up to $10 Million for new solar energy systems that will be installed in the next year.
